When working with Kelly, people consistently share feeling held by her compassionate care, inspired by her insight, and safe enough to let go in her her grounded presence.

She teaches people how to release stress and trauma by listening to their bodies and developing a deep and lasting relationship with its wisdom. Her work is all about teaching and supporting the body to self correct through various sophisticated techniques and well researched methods rather than a “fix it” (or let’s fix you) approach. You will learn how to attune to your body and nervous system, learn to relate to it through various practices, and have the space to release both tissue restrictions and somato-emotional content. She comes to this work from a deeply personal experience with suffering and learning how to overcome it. Specializing in sexual trauma, she has helped countless people come to terms with difficult experiences, and move toward joy and safety.

As a licensed massage therapist she has over 10 years of experience integrating cutting edge bodywork modalities with somatic trauma work spanning across a variety of fields. She is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), a three year program focusing on the nervous system and trauma healing. She has apprenticed in myofascial release and currently studies CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute and is in mentorship with one of Dr. John Upledger's long time students.

In her private practice she offers Somatic Experiencing and TRE sessions, Integrative massage, Myofascial release, Craniosacral Therapy, and SomatoEmotional Release bodywork. She also regularly facilitates workshops and helps teach at retreats. Learn to trust your bodies wisdom again through her integrative approach to healing.

I’m not your average massage therapist.

I have feet in two worlds. I help bridge the benefits from manual therapies and bodywork with cutting edge body-centered psychology methods, helping integrate the mind body divide that is typically prevalent in western health approaches.

My own health struggles and difficult life experiences led me to this work.

Through bodywork and somatic practices I have been able to transform my own traumatic experiences. I had severe asthmatic episodes as a child. My inability to breath during sickness’, chronic coughing fits, chest spasms, shortness of breath completely disappeared after addressing their underlying causes: nervous system disregulation, childhood trauma, and fascial restrictions. I was also sexually assaulted in college, a reality that is unfortunately far too common. Through body based interventions I was fully supported in my healing process. These experiences were life changing and helped confirm the importance and potency of body based interventions where traditional psychology, despite its best efforts, fell short.

My own body has proven to be a great teacher and support, as will yours.

I studied the modalities that have proven most beneficial for my own body and nervous system, the missing links to many syndromal conditions and pain patterns that get overlooked in conventional therapeutic approaches. I’m here to share these methods with you so that your path is a little easier and to support your body’s innate intelligence to heal. We all can heal. I know this is possible because I know the process within myself.
